Position Summary

The Business Analyst I participates in the project management, business analysis, and related system documentation in the Software Support Team. This role is responsible for supporting the project management initiatives of the team through diligent research and detailed documentation. This role will provide critical support to the Business Transformation Manager during the management of high-level impact projects and will stretch to independent management of low to mid-level impact projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage project management initiatives within the Software Support Team. Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Identify and escalate instances of scope creep or roadblocks to project performance
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, establishing timelines, and requirement gathering
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices
  • Maintain complete documentation of all project communications and deliverables using Monday.com
  • Assist in the design and execution of pilot projects to test the feasibility, usability, and value (ROI) of potential new software products. Partner with RPM PMO Team and stakeholders as needed
  • Complete business analysis activities to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements, goals, and objectives
  • Assist the team in gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders, translating them into actionable deliverables
  • Maintain current documentation and intuitive references for all RPM Teams of existing RPM solutions
  • Assist in the identification of industry applicable solutions for property operations business functions. Document current vendors and solutions to include benchmarking the features, and identifying product differentiators
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring that projects and initiatives align with business priorities

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field. Experience may substitute for education
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, business analysis frameworks, including requirements gathering and data analysis

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Skilled in organizational with attention to detail

  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Monday.com) and business analysis methodologies

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions
