Position Summary

The Resident Experience Specialist supports the operations team to execute a portfolio strategy across outreach, property awareness, resident events, and engagement to positively impact the
property performance across multiple communities. The Resident Experience Specialist will oversee property events and community engagement while utilizing social media, marketing, and branding initiatives across assigned communities to ultimately improve property performance for Operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Associate will roll under RVP Operations
  • Visit properties every 2 weeks, spending ~4 hrs. at the site and local spots
  • Meet with the team, collaborate on resident events, and obtain feedback on popular events
  • Maintain an open line of communication with the on-site team, manager, leadership, and marketing department when necessary to ensure there is up-to-date material
  • Responsible for scheduling prospect or resident events with vendors to create a monthly resident event calendar for each site
  • Work with local vendors to participate in events (CM to provide monthly resident event budget)
  • While on site- capture property-specific local content like amenities, model, vacant apartments to upload latest photos on all social platforms for property awareness (on-site team will be responsible for sending pictures from resident events) – following all corporate and marketing guidelines
  • Utilizing approved client-branded collateral, adapting to property needs such as resident event flyers (on-site team responsible for distributing)
  • Post on social media platforms a minimum of 3x per week through Soci, following all marketing and social best practices
  • Attend monthly strategy meeting at corporate to collaborate with regionals and RVP
  • Attend applicable calls in partnership with marketing
  • Attend a monthly meeting with the marketing lead for alignment and awareness
  • Ensure branding and messaging are consistent with branding guidelines

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality, or a related field. Experience may substitute for education
  • One year of experience in marketing, event coordination, social media management, or multifamily/property management
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple property locations regularly
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, branding standards, and content strategy
  • Skilled in organizing, scheduling, and executing outreach community and resident events
  • Skilled in social media management tools (e.g., Soci, Hootsuite), design platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite), and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to build relationships with vendors, residents, and onsite teams to enhance engagement and community awareness
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to create visually appealing promotional materials aligned with corporate identity

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to read documents, computer screens, and data
• Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
• May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
• Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment


Work Environment:

• This is an on-site role, requiring the associate to work in one of their respective offices five days per week
• The office is an open setting that may include bright lights, constant noises, and distractions
