Position Summary

The Transitions Associate will be responsible for supporting the Transitions team’s efforts of integrating all new properties into RPM Living’s management. This position would directly report to Senior Transitions Manager and be primarily focused on internal takeover processes administration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in direct site team support during property transitions through Microsoft Teams and other online resources.
  • Help to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements during transitions.
  • Oversite of onboarding transition requests with outgoing management and distribution to internal teams.
  • Coordinate account set ups, termination of contracts and follow up with vendors on new account set up.
  • Stay up to date on new RPM initiatives and training to facilitate top tier support to site teams.
  • Provide feedback and actionable ideas for continued development of resources used during property transitions.
  • Coordinate with the System Support team on the implementation and integration of property management software, ensuring smooth data migration and system setup.
  • Provide feedback to management on potential improvements to the transition process based on lessons learned from previous transitions.
  • Assist with additional takeover tasks as assigned by the Transitions Manager.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of Multifamily property management experience preferred.
  • Yardi and OneSite experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of the multifamily property management industry.
  • Ability to learn new systems and programs.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions
