Position Summary

The position: The Director of Treasury will be responsible for leading a team of Treasury and Senior Treasury Managers for RPM Living. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely Bank Administration functions including but not limited to Bank Account Management, Fraud Prevention, User Administration, Petty Cash Card Program and Treasury Payment Processing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of treasury professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance performance
  • Identify opportunities and implement Treasury-related business process improvements.
  • Develop and support Treasury policies, procedures and controls
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Leverage existing banking relationships to open, manage and maintain bank accounts
  • Monitor and oversee existing bank account services and signatories including bank account administration for opening, migrating and closing accounts
  • Leverage the Treasury Management System (Kyriba) to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies across the organization
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of bank accounts, balances, and banking system(s)
  • Ensure accurate property cash services setup
  • Oversee management of corporate petty cash card program
  • Oversee management of the RPM Gift Card program
  • Reporting and metrics, bank fee analysis and management
  • Successfully manage escalations and provide timely resolution
  • Effectively work with and support internal business partners
  • Ad hoc projects as requested

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience may substitute for education.
  • Eight Years of Treasury or related experience
  • Three Years of Property Management Experience, Preferred
  • Knowledge of banking treasury management and services
  • Skilled in organization with a high level of attention to detail
  • Skilled in analytics to interpret financial data and make informed decisions
  • Skilled in building, leading, and motivating teams
  • Ability to apply banking knowledge across multiple banks and bank platforms
  • Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to manage multiple processes and initiatives simultaneously

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions
