The Position: This Due Diligence associate role is responsible for supporting the due diligence coordination, inspection and report creation process.

Responsibilities

  • Proofread, revise, edit and produce due diligence reports under strict deadline constraints
  • Assist in coordinating schedules and onsite inspections of file auditors, unit walkers, and vendor inspections
  • Maintain request lists; revise per provided items, manage multiple Dropbox accounts
  • Maintain various internal databases with up to date information
  • Perform in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects in process at once. Able to stay organized and deadline focused when completing tasks
  • Problem solve when a complex situation arises, and follow-up with tasks until fully complete
  • Interact with colleagues, other management companies and client in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time; occasionally outside of standard work hours

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Property Management Experience preferred
  • Community Manager Experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel experience a necessity), Adobe, Salesforce

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 3 days per week.
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
