The position:The Resident Relations manager is responsible for ensuring the resident needs are addressed through coordination of onsite activities, work requests, and maintaining current resident contact information.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that new resident(s) receive all resident documents and keys as well as an introduction to staff and other residents
  • Educate all residents on procedure to place a service request and assist when necessary
  • Actively address resident concerns and serve as a point of contact for residents and their families
  • Build ongoing relationships with residents and families
  • Coordinate services and support systems for residents and family members
  • Keep all resident and family email lists current and maintain communication through regular contact
  • Send timely updates to residents on activities in our community
  • Participate and aid in planning on-site resident events
  • Assist property staff in all duties related to HUD recertifications and daily operations
  • Meet and greet prospective residents as well as touring them through the community
  • Ensure all events planned are within budgeted guidelines
  • Assist with any other tasks, as needed

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or experience in apartment leasing
  • A minimum of one year experience in a customer service-related industry

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week.
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
