Overview

Position Summary: The Investment Analyst will support our acquisition and investor relations teams and will provide exposure to the many facets of commercial real estate.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the acquisition team by helping managinge deal due diligence
  • Assist in reviewing tax, insurance and title/survey materials for new acquisition opportunities
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly investor reporting
  • Help process monthly and quarterly distributions
  • Manage and compile investor and financial data for various reporting needs
  • Support new investment ventures and investor onboarding
  • Aid in the servicing of investor inquiries and provide quality service and an excellent customer experience to partners, banks, lenders, and other service providers
  • Assist with the preparation of various investment materials to be used in both internal and outward client facing capacities
  • Perform ad hoc support and reporting tasks as needed

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the property management and real estate industries
  • Proactively Skilled in problem-solveing with the ability to and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Skilled in Detail-oriented with exceptional analyticals and organization with attention to detail-al skills
  • Successful Skilled with PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skilled in InDesign, Yardi, CRM platform, or other real estate-based software a plus
  • Ability to adapt to change with a commitment to professional developmentSeeks and acquires new competencies, work methods, ideas, and information that will improve own efficiency and effectiveness on the job
  • Ability to apply newly acquired knowledge to improve job performance and foster innovation within the team
  • Ability to work independently or within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and aAbility to multi-task in fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, communications, or related field
  • Two years of relevant investment related experience
  • Experience in private equity, multifamily real estate, or like-minded industry is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

  • This is an onsite role requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices five days a week.
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
