The position: The Resident Services Coordinator assists the Community Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of an apartment community, or communities, with resident relations issues, performances a variety of administrative/clerical duties, and has primary responsibility for any resident concerns being addressed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the resident experience
  • Offer a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing office
  • Maintain awareness of the property competitors and contribute ideas to the Property Manager to improve resident retention and satisfaction
  • Contact and follow up on renewals, new residents, and work orders
  • Answer and handle incoming issues from current residents always offering excellent service
  • Create a renewal program to optimize leas renewals and decrease resident turnover
  • Create ideas for marketing and events and assist in successful execution of these events
  • Plan fun activities for residents
  • Develop and execute strategies for optimizing online reputation and resident satisfaction surveys in accordance with goals set by Community Manager
  • Must be available for after hours for resident relations and other activities
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by manager

Qualifications

  • High school GED; or one to three years of related experience
  • Possess knowledge of property operations, marketing principles and practices
  • Knowledge of principals and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products of services; this includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources management, leadership techniques, planning and organization, and coordinator of people and resources
  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Industry Specific Software
